I worked in a barn for many years and I really miss the way that space smelled. I was hoping for a candle that could come close. This is a really decent smelling candle, but it's too sweet and soapy to suggest hay. The grassy, earthy notes are there, but they're undertones. The dynamic should be inverted--sweet underneath, earthy and grassy on top. The candle is also a little overpowering in a smaller space, though perhaps it would fill a larger room nicely. I appreciate the effort and I may try another scent from Grey Horse in the future.
